The 12th edition of France's premier global annual trade showcase, Rendez-vous en France, took place in Rouen Normandy this year from March 28 to 29. This annual showcase organised by Atout France, Air France, the Normandy Tourist Board and the City of Rouen, provided a platform for presenting the diversity of France's touristic offerings. The two-day show recorded an attendance of 740 French exhibitors and 890 hosted buyers. Amongst the 67 countries present for this event, India was represented by 29 travel companies and 2 trade journalists.
The Indian delegation was also invited by regions such as host region Normandy, Champagne, Northern France and Occitanie (the erstwhile Midi Pyrénées region) for pre and post familiarisation trips to gain a first hand experience of the region's tourist offerings. Apart from popular source markets like Delhi and Mumbai, travel agents from Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Chennai also attended the showcase.
The event also provided delegates an opportunity to acquaint themselves with the new mergers of French regions and also learn more about France's marques mondiales (signature destinations) and poles d'excellence (areas of experience).

Their in-depth discoveries of France's regions also enhances product knowledge and provides them with a firsthand opportunity to see what they've been promoting so far."
